Terms of use
Last updated Monday 5 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use ClassCal. Read them together with our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your information. By creating an account or using ClassCal you agree to both.
1. Who we are
ClassCal is run by Josh Unsdorfer, a licensed sole proprietor (osek murshe) registered in Israel, trading as Atticus AI Lab ("we", "us"). You can reach us at contact@atticusailab.com.
2. Early access
ClassCal is in early access. Features will change, some will be added or removed, and the service may sometimes be interrupted while we improve it. It is free during early access. Before we start charging, we will tell you the price, and you can choose not to continue.
3. Who can use ClassCal
- You must be 18 or over and a parent or guardian, or helping one with their own account.
- Connect only your own WhatsApp account, and only groups you are a member of.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
4. Your WhatsApp account
ClassCal connects to WhatsApp as a linked device, using software that is not made, endorsed or supported by WhatsApp or Meta. ClassCal only reads: it never sends, replies, reacts or marks messages as read. WhatsApp could still limit or log out linked devices, or take action on accounts that use them. By connecting ClassCal you accept that risk. You can remove ClassCal at any time from WhatsApp, Linked devices.
5. AI, accuracy and safety
ClassCal uses AI to translate messages, find what matters and answer questions. AI can miss or misread things. Check important dates, payments and anything about your child's safety or health against the original message, which ClassCal always links to. ClassCal is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for direct contact with the school, a doctor or the authorities.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of everything in your groups and everything you add. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide ClassCal to you, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to connect the groups you connect.
7. Using ClassCal fairly
Do not use ClassCal to break the law, to monitor people you have no right to monitor, to copy or reverse-engineer it, to overload or interfere with it, or to access other people's accounts. We may suspend an account that does.
8. Our property
ClassCal's software, design, name and logo belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using ClassCal as intended.
9. Ending your use
You can stop at any time: remove ClassCal from WhatsApp, Linked devices, and ask privacy@atticusailab.com to delete your data. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering ClassCal, giving you notice where we reasonably can. Your data is then deleted as the privacy policy describes.
10. Our responsibility
During early access ClassCal is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available, complete or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for information ClassCal missed or got wrong, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim and ₪100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post changes here with a new date and, if a change is significant, email account holders before it takes effect. Using ClassCal after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
13. Contact
